| Health Care Environmental ResourcesHealth care providers are located throughout most every community and provide services aimed at preventing, diagnosing, treating, curing, and/or rehabilitating people and animals from disease, illness, injury, and other physical and mental ailments. Examples of health care providers include individual practices (doctor, veterinary, and dentist offices), public practices (local health departments), community institutions (hospitals), clinics (medical, oncology, surgical outpatient, etc.), hospice, and homes providing health care to residents (homes for the aged, mentally impaired, etc.)
