Child Development and Care Limits on Total Hours of Care

The total number of hours of care for which providers can be paid in a biweekly pay period are limited to:
  • Unlicensed child care providers - 560 hours per pay period.
  • Family child care homes - 720 hours per pay period.
  • Group child care homes - 1440 hours per pay period.
  • Child care centers - no limit.

Child Development and Care payments cannot be made for any hours of care that exceed the limit.
