EnergySmart Schools creates a unified effort to promote energy efficiency through energy education and school-wide participation. ESS strives to improve teacher education and student learning at all levels through hands on activities that in-turn reduce school energy consumption. Students take an active role in energy education and grow to have a vested interest in energy reduction by becoming involved in school energy management. ESS develops a team approach to energy efficiency uniting administration, facility directors, custodial and teaching staff, as well as students towards a common goal. Currently there are no EnergySmart Schools grants available, please check back with our website periodically for additional informational resources.
