A. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy have worked together to create a national brand for energy efficiency, called ENERGY STAR.  The ENERGY STAR website has more information on all kinds of products and equipment, including appliances, lighting, heating and cooling equipment, refrigerators/freezers, computers and peripherals, windows; even ENERGY STAR houses.
