Focus on New Beginnings
We would like to introduce to you our newest staff member, Sonya Schryer. Her official title is Machine Services Clerk. Sonya's responsibilities, which are key to serving our library patrons, include assigning maintaining and coordinating machine information. Sonya says, "I enjoy the work very much. And I look forward to getting to know our patrons." Sonya has recently begun some reader advisor work as well. Many of you will have the chance to talk with her over the next few months, so please make her feel welcome.
Focus on Continued Library Service
- Please rewind all cassette tapes before returning them.
- Do not lend your books or machine equipment to others.
- Include your name and current address on all correspondence.
- Place a string or rubber band around a damaged cassette when returning the book.
- Please do not try to repair the machine equipment yourself. First, contact your Reader Advisor, who will be happy to send a replacement machine.
- Be mindful of food or beverages near your machine equipment. Accidents can occur and cause damage to the equipment.
Focus on Your Reader Advisor
In our last Focus 23 issues, we told you about a new computer system that was installed here in late August. It's been installed and we are up and running. As with any new computer system, there is training and de-bugging that need to take place. We are changing our reader advisor services a bit to accommodate some new staff responsibilities. Below is a link to the revised list of reader advisors. You are welcome to continue contacting your current reader advisor if you wish. Please call us Toll-Free: 1-800-992-9012 if you have any questions.
