It is unlawful to purchase more than one bear license. If you are selected for a bear hunting license, make sure you are not sold a participation license by mistake.
Bear License, No Kill Tag (NKT)--
A person who participates in hunting bear with
dogs is required to have either a bear hunting license or a bear license no kill
tag when taking part in that activity. Hunting activities may include, but are
not limited to: working or controlling dogs, operating a chase vehicle,
operating tracking equipment or operating communications equipment as part of
the hunt. The bear license no kill tag does not allow the holder to kill a bear.
