Dates:
Woodcock hunting season opens the Saturday nearest Sept. 22 and runs for 45 days. These dates are set by a federal framework.

Bag Limits: 3 per day, 6 possession

Bobwhite Quail
In Specified Counties:
Dates: Oct. 20-Nov. 14
Bag Limit: 5 per day, 10 possession

Ring-necked Pheasant
Males Only
Dates:
   Zone 1 (partial): Oct. 10-31
   Zones 2 & 3: Oct. 20-Nov. 14
   Zone 3 (partial): Dec. 1- Jan. 1
Bag Limits: 2 per day, 4 possession

Ruffed Grouse
Dates (all zones):
   Sept. 15-Nov. 14 and
   Dec. 1-Jan. 1
Bag Limits:
   Zones 1 & 2: 5 daily, 10 possession
   Zone 3: 3 daily, 6 possession

Sharptail Grouse
