Marquette Fisheries Research Station was established in 1952 and is housed in the Marquette State Fish Hatchery. Research station work includes studies on fish communities and ecologies in UP rivers, streams, inland lakes, and the Great Lakes. Further details on the history of this station will be posted soon.
