Location
Walker Tavern is located in Cambridge Junction Historic State Park, 35 miles west of Ann Arbor, at the junction of U.S. 12 and M-50.
Admission
Admission to Walker Tavern is free. Please note that some special events require a donation.
2013 Season Dates and Hours
April 14 through May 28: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week
May 29 through September 6: M-Tu, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; W-Su, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
September 7 through October 14: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week
Please note that Walker Tavern is closed on the following dates during the 2013 season:
- May 27
- June 16
- July 4
- August 18
- September 2
The Walker Tavern
Farmers' Market is open most Sundays, May 26 through October 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Walker Wheels Base Ball Club invites you to play or watch vintage "base ball."
How Much Time?
Please allow one
to two hours to tour the Walker Tavern historic sitemore, if you are shopping at the farmers market or taking in a Walker Wheels vintage "base ball" game. The tavern includes an 1840s parlor, barroom, dining room and kitchen; the barn offers surveying and stagecoach exhibits.

Pets: Pets accompanied by and under the control of their human friends are welcomed on the grounds of this site. Pets may not enter any building. For further information, please refer to the DNR web page, Pets in State Park Campgrounds.
Accessibility
Designated parking is available. The visitor center is accessible to people who have a mobility impairment. Upon arrival, these visitors must arrange with staff for permission to drive to the top of the steep-grade hill where the tavern and barn are located. These two buildings offer accessibility only on the ground floor. One vault toilet is accessible.
