PROPOSED OIL AND GAS LEASE AUCTION: Approximately 452,000 acres of state-owned oil and gas rights located in 22 counties are proposed to be offered for lease at an oral auction on October 26-28, 2010. The proposed location is the Michigan Constitution Hall at 525 West Allegan Street, Lansing. Standard lease includes a five-year primary term with two one-year extension options, 1/6 royalty rate, initial $13.00 per acre minimum bonus consideration (including a $3.00 per acre audit fee) and $2.00 per acre annual rental for the primary term.
