Michigan Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Disease Lab
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Disease Laboratory is responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of the wildlife in the State of Michigan. This laboratory is known worldwide and provides detailed information on diseases in the state affecting its wildlife.

Diagnostic Center for Population and Animal Health
The existing DCPAH facility serves as Michigan's official diagnostic laboratory, providing animal health services not only to state government, but to veterinarians, companion and farm animal owners, and other state agencies across Michigan. Unlike numerous human health labs, the DCPAH is the only comprehensive diagnostic lab for animal health in the state.

National Wildlife Research Center

Centers for Disease Control National Institute of Safety and Health

National Veterinary Services Lab
The NVSL provides diagnosis for domestic and foreign animal diseases, diagnostic support for disease control and eradication programs, import and export testing of animals, training, and laboratory certification for selected diseases. The NVSL is composed of four testing laboratories. All are located in Ames, Iowa, except the Foreign Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (FADDL) which is located on Plum Island, New York.
