Homeland Security

Where do I find inoformation on Homeland Security issues?

Citizens concerned with Homeland Security issues should visit the Michigan Homeland Security webpage. There you will find up-to-date information about homeland security and preparation from a number of state and federal agencies. In addition, this site provides information on a range of subjects from border and travel advisories to how citizens can prepare in the unlikely event of emergency. The site also provides information about how you can get involved to support our troops overseas as well as your community through groups like the Michigan Citizen Corps.

Who do I contact for Homeland Security emergencies?

If you need to report a possible or immediate homeland security threat please contact your local police department by dialing 911.  You can also report your concerns to the Michigan State Police at (517) 336-6100.
