Mill Creek provided sawn lumber for the settlement of Mackinac Island in the 1790s. Today at the 625-acre state park, you can enjoy an exciting blend of living history demonstrations and nature interpretation along the many scenic trails.

7 to 11 p.m.-The Michigan Historical Center Foundation invites you to the 2008 Jingle Ball, a premier holiday event held the night after Silver Bells in the City kicks off the holiday season in mid Michigan. Co-hosted by Jane Aldrich of WLNS-TV and Kip Bohne of WSYM-TV, the Jingle Ball raises funds that every year help 80,000 children discover Michigan history.
