Museum Store Hours and Location

• Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.

• We are closed on state holidays. See our holiday closing schedule.

The Michigan Historical Museum Store is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The building and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Weekend parking is free. Here's more information about how to find us.

Discounts

Members of the Michigan Historical Museum Docent Guild, the Friends of Michigan History and State of Michigan employees enjoy a 10% discount every day on all purchases in the Museum Store. During the Museum Store's Double Discount Days, these same volunteers, members and employees receive a 20% discount on unique Michigan history and heritage gifts.

Teachers are now eligible for a substantial discount on education materials purchased from the Michigan Historical Museum Stores. Download the educator discount application [PDF].
