Aug. 14, 2008 - Walker Tavern will soon have a bright new face, thanks to the help and support of the local community. The prep work is taking place Aug.12-15, and the painting will be done Aug. 18-22. Working hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Anyone who has a few hours or more to volunteer is encouraged to call Walker Tavern Historic Site at (517) 467-4401 and sign up for a shift. |
