We provide wide-ranging services to library staff and trustees around the state including MeL coordination, certification for librarians, LSTA administration, state aid and penal fines, resources for library trustees and census and statistical data.
LDDS offices are temporarily located on the fifth floor of Constitution Hall at 525 West Allegan Street in Lansing. Mail should continue to be routed through the regular mailing address of the Library of Michigan.

• 2008/2009 Annual Report/State Aid Application Attention all Directors of Public, Cooperative, and LBPH libraries:
The new filing season for public libraries, library cooperatives, and regional and subregional libraries for the blind and physically handicapped has begun. Letters containing passwords for access to this year's online application were mailed to libraries on September 30. All pertinent information is included in the letter. Please attempt login as soon as possible upon receipt, even if not ready to enter data. This will enable us to identify any possible technical difficulties.
Forms are accessed at http://envoy.libofmich.lib.mi.us/AnnualReport/AnnualReport.html. Cookies and temporary Internet files should be cleared before attempting login. Instructions and help bubbles are available throughout all sections of the form.
Public, Co-op, and LBPH libraries must submit their annual report online by February 1, 2009. After electronic submission, the Certification of Information page with original signatures must be mailed to the State Aid Coordinator and postmarked by February 5, 2009. Please send by Certified, Return Receipt USPS mail if confirmation of delivery is required.
Filing assistance will be available Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Questions received via email will be answered during normal business hours. Assistance is not available nights, weekends, and State government holidays.
