School Construction

On December 23, 2002, Act 628 of the Public Acts of 2002 (1937 PA 306) was signed into law requiring the inspection of all school buildings, as well as the review of construction documents under the Stille-DeRossett-Hale Single State Construction Code Act, 1972 PA 230 ; and the State Fire Prevention Code, 1941 PA 207 .

Plans should be submitted to the Bureau of Construction Codes.
