The winning ticket, with the numbers 05  18  21  27  37  40, was sold at the Westside Party Store, 2990 W. Genesee St., in Lapeer. The winner should contact the Michigan Lottery's Public Relations Division at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim the prize.

In total, 11,802 players were winners in last night's drawing, with prize amounts ranging from $5 to the jackpot.

Over 98.5 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2009, the contribution to schools was $724.5 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
