Lt. Governor Cherry, named "Legislator of the Year"
Lt. Governor Cherry was named "Legislator of the Year" for 2002 by the Michigan Recreation and Parks Association. Recently he was presented
a National Park Services map showing the many grant-funded recreation and conservation
projects in the State of Michigan by Mike McDonald, MRPA Public Policy Committee
Chair and member of the Ingham County Parks Board, and Mike Maisner, MRPA Executive
Director.
