The Michigan Community Service Commission is always looking for great stories from Michigan's AmeriCorps and Learn and Serve grantees, members of the Mentor Michigan Directory, and general volunteer organizations. Please see the following document when submitting stories.

• 2008-2009 National Service Directory 
The Directory of National Service Programs in Michigan is published annually by the Michigan Community Service Commission. It is a resource to aid collaboration between national service members and nonprofit organizations.

• The History of National Service
National Service has long played an important role in American history. Over the years it has grown into a movement that boasts over 60,000 active, enrolled members annually, and engages thousands of additional Americans in service in their local communities.

• MCSC and National Service Logos
The MCSC and National Service logos are available for programs to use. As we further our mission of encouraging Michigan residents to volunteer, it is our hope that these logos will become synonymous with this effort.
