Reports & Statistics Spotlight:

On October 1, 2009, the Office of Drug Control Policy was abolished. Administration for substance abuse services and problem gambling programs remains with the Bureau of Substance Abuse & Addiction Services (BSAAS) in the Mental Health & Substance Abuse Administration.

On October 26, 2009, administration for the Byrne Justice Assistance Grant, the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for State Prisoners Grant, and the Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Act transferred to the Department of State Police. Their new website is www.michigan.gov/cjgrants.

On October 26, 2009, administration for Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act School Formula Grants and Governor's Discretionary Grants transferred to the Department of Education. Their information can still be found on our Education webpage.

These changes were a result of Executive Orders 2009-02 and 2009-42.
