The Michigan Nursing Corps was created by Governor Granholm in her 2007 State of the State address and in her 2008 Budget Request to the Legislature. The Legislature allocated $1.5 million for the initial phase of the Corps.
This RFP is issued to solicit proposals that address the shortage of nursing faculty in Michigan. There are three specific models listed in the RFP.
