Welcome to the MI Strategic Workforce Planning page. The following pages are provided as a resource and guide to State of Michigan departments as they develop their strategic workforce plans. MI Strategic Workforce Planning is critical for departments in creating a better government to serve the citizens of Michigan “having the right people at the right place at the right time.”
The tools may be adopted in whole or part based department’s needs. Civil Service is ready to assist you in your planning efforts. The Workforce Planning Specialist is available and can provide you with best practice information from resources within state government and other employers.
