Program Information: The Governor must apply for these funds. The first priority of the State Fiscal Stabilization Fund allocation is to restore school aid funding in each of fiscal years 2009, 2010, and 2011 to the greater level of FY 2008 or FY 2009 levels; and funding for public higher education institutions to the higher level of FY 2008 or FY 2009. Grant Information: Funds not distributed to meet the restoration requirement will be distributed to local education agencies using the Title I formula. Details on the application method and distribution of funds will be provided when additional guidance is received from USED.
