School Breakfast Program

The School Breakfast Program (SBP) provides cash assistance to States to operate nonprofit breakfast programs in schools and residential childcare institutions. It provides nutritious, low cost or free breakfasts to school age children in public and private schools, public school academies, and residential child care institutions throughout Michigan.

Michigan School Breakfast Challenge

Michigan Superintendents are challenged to increase by 50% student participation in their district's School Breakfast Program (SBP)

All districts are automatically participating in this two-year School Breakfast Challenge. By involving your school buildings in this challenge, together we can serve more than 58 million breakfasts to students during the school year.
