John C. Austin, Vice President

Mr. Austin was elected in 2000.  He is a

Nonresident Senior Fellow with the

Brookings Institution, as well as a Senior

Fellow with the University of Michigan's

School of Education - Center for Higher

and Postsecondary Education - National

Forum for the Public Good.  Mr. Austin

holds a Master of Public Administration

from Harvard's Kennedy School of

Government and a Bachelor of Arts from

Swarthmore College in Economics and

Political Science.
