• A $16.5 million investment to reconstruct 1.75 miles of northbound and southbound M-39 (Southfield Road) in Wayne County.
• The project limits are between Pinecrest Street in Allen Park and Porter Street in Lincoln Park.
• Included in the project are upgrading traffic signals, constructing new driveways, and replacement of concrete barriers, storm sewers, and highway signing and lighting.

• Traffic will be maintained at all times, as will access to businesses along the corridor.
• During peak hours, two lanes will be open northbound and southbound.
• During off-peak hours (Mondays through Fridays from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 7 p.m. - 9 a.m.) crews may reduce the roadway to one lane in each direction.
