I-675, Saginaw County - Improving Your Drive on I-675

What we are doing: |
- Road work consisting of concrete pavement repairs on I-675 and interchange ramps, trenching and HMA paving shoulders, replacing culverts, safety improvements, new freeway signing, removing and replacing freeway lighting.
- Bridge work consisting of deck replacements, deck resurfacing, joint replacements, painting, steel repairs, approach work and substructure work.
- Removal and replacement of the 22nd Street pedestrian bridge; Removal of the 11th Street pedestrian bridge
- Sidewalk improvements along Wadsworth Street and Fitzhugh streets between 5th and 14th streets, also along 5th and 6th streets between Wadsworth and Fitzhugh streets.

How traffic is affected: |
- In 2009, I-675 southbound traffic will be detoured to southbound I-75, then to northbound I-675; I-675 northbound traffic will remain on I-675 northbound.
- On city/county/local road where bridges are being rehabilitated, traffic will be maintained with part width construction, temporary signals or will be detoured.
- In 2010, I-675 northbound traffic will be detoured to northbound I-75, then to southbound I-675; I-675 southbound traffic will remain on I-675 southbound.
- On city/county/local road where bridges are being rehabilitated, traffic will be maintained with part width construction, temporary signals or will be detoured.
