MDOT Executive Bureau
The Director of the Michigan Department of Transportation is appointed by the Governor of Michigan. Kirk T. Steudle began his tenure as State Transportation Director in March 2006.
Also in the MDOT Executive Bureau are Jacqueline G. Shinn, Chief Deputy Director, Leon Hank, Chief Administrative Officer, and Gregory Johnson, Chief Operations Officer.
