Research Partner Listening Sessions
Thank you everyone who participated in the listening sessions held early in September. ORBP is diligently considering all questions and comments made during these sessions and have been consulting with others to address all concerns as comprehensively as possible. We hope to provide more information on our progress soon.

Fourth Quarter Reports Were Due October 15
Principal investigators (PIs) who had projects under contract through the Statewide Planning and Research, Part II, Program during the final quarter of fiscal year 2009 are required to submit quarterly reports for those projects. Thank you to the PIs who have already submitted their fourth quarter progress reports (form 5305) covering the period from July 1 through September 30, 2009 to Nancy Crider or mdot-research@michigan.gov. If you have not submitted all required quarterly reports for fiscal year 2009, please do so as soon as possible. Our annual report to FHWA requires the information you will be submitting on these forms.

The Office of Research and Best Practices (ORBP)
administers the Statewide Planning and Research (SPR) Part II Program. It is working on a statewide research management plan for MDOT.
