Mentor
Michigan
is hosting monthly webinars on the Research in Action series. This series was developed by
MENTOR
and translates the latest mentoring research into tangible strategies for mentoring practitioners. Research in Action makes the best available research accessible and relevant to the mentoring field. Programs can ensure their practices are based on current research, resulting in improved services and better impacts for young people when they use the Research in Action series.
The series features 10 issues with each one providing the following: Research - a peer-reviewed article, written by a leading scholar, summarizing the latest research available on the topic and its implications for the field; Action - tools, activities, templates, or resources created by MENTOR, with concrete suggestions on putting theory into practice; and Resources - a list of additional resources for further research.
