| Michigan Promise Scholarship |
Public Act 479 of 2006 signed into law by Governor Granholm on December 21, 2006, provides up to $4,000 to high school graduates for successfully completing two years of postsecondary education beginning with the high school graduating class of 2007.
Important Information
Testing Requirements: To be eligible to receive funds in the
Michigan Promise Scholarship program, you must take the entire
MME and show valid
test results for all MME components.
If you took some of the MME in your junior year, but for some reason did not
take all MME components, you will not be eligible for the Michigan Promise
Scholarship unless you retest in your senior year. When you retest, you must
take all MME components, not just the one(s) you missed the first time.
If you have any questions regarding MME testing, send an e-mail to mme@michigan.gov
or contact the Michigan Department of Education toll free at 1-877-560-8378.
