The goal of the Student Scholarships and Grants (SSG) is to help students pay for college and provide a "one-stop-shop" for the administration of Michigan's scholarships and grants programs.
DID YOU KNOW...The state of Michigan has been providing scholarships and grants to Michigan students since 1964 and has helped over three million students with roughly $4 billion in financial assistance to achieve their higher educational goals.
The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) targets the neediest students in Michigan as it focuses on students who are or who have been Medicaid eligible. Many students and their families do not know about the program or have misconceptions about it. Please use this brochure ONLY when sharing information about TIP. Locally developed materials may be incorrect.
