The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement for Thumb Electric Cooperative, reconciling its 2007 power supply cost recovery (PSCR) costs and increasing its rates.
The settlement agreement found a PSCR under-recovery and directed the utility to roll in $13,468 into its 2009 PSCR plan. It also authorizes the utility to increase its rates by $496,323.
The MPSC staff and the utility participated in the settlement agreement.
The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
