The Office of Employment Readiness is proud to present the first issue of OER Network News. The newsletter highlights the new OER department bringing together the Prison Build Program, Prison Education, and Michigan State Industries. These three divisions within the MDOC are devoted to training prisoners for employment upon their return to society. OER is a partner with the Michigan Prisoner Reentry Initiative dedicated to providing prisoners academic opportunities and vocational skills to be successful.
