The Executive Division exists to provide administrative support to the Director by providing information for executive-level decision making,
supporting agency-wide strategic planning, representing the Director outside the agency, developing and disseminating department policy, formulating agency positions on public policy issues, communicating the department's accomplishments to our "customers," and ensuring high standards of organizational effectiveness and individual professionalism.


		Executive Resource Section

		Provides administrative support and various services to the Director and department members, other state departments, the public, and law enforcement agencies in other states.


		Governor's Security Section

		Provides personal security for the Governor and the Governor's immediate family.


		Professional Standards Section

		Provides information concerning trends and conditions which may negatively affect the integrity of the Michigan State Police.


		Public Affairs Section

		Responsible for education and promotion of many activities of the department.
