East Lansing - The Michigan State Police (MSP) Pistol Team ranked an impressive 2^nd place out of 35 other teams competing at the National Championship Pistol Match in Ohio.

Team members also received five individual awards at regional and national matches in July, including the prestigious McGinley Trophy, presented to the highest scoring police competitor at the national match.

The MSP Pistol Team is comprised of uniformed State Police officers from across the state. Team members compete in marksmanship competitions hosted regionally.

The 2004 MSP Pistol Team includes the following current and retired team members:
