Arson Tip Line - 1-800-44-ARSON

The Michigan Arson Reward Program receives the majority of its tips through the Arson Tip Line. The Tip Line is sponsored by the Michigan State Police and the Michigan Arson Prevention Committee (MAPC) and is funded by the Michigan Basic Property Insurance Association. A toll free number (1-800-44-27766) receives tips which are forwarded to the appropriate police or fire agency for follow-up. The tipster may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 if an arrest and/or conviction results. The tip line also receives information about juvenile fire setters.
