Project Summaries

Carson City Hospital:         $641,494

Carson City Hospital located in the City of Carson City, and Montcalm Community College are partnering with West Central Michigan Health Care MiRSA to implement an certified nursing assistant to license practical nurse to train 20 licensed practical nurses with associates degree.

 

Oakwood Healthcare System:         $108,544

Oakwood Healthcare System, located in the City of Dearborn and with Eastern Michigan University, School of Nursing, are partnering with Southeast Michigan Regional Skills Alliance to implement expanding the nurse faculty workforce to train 40 clinical nurse faculty.

 

Saint Mary's Healthcare (Nursing):        $188,027

St. Mary's Healthcare, located in the City of Grand Rapids, and Ferris State University are partnering with West Central Michigan Healthcare MiRSA to implement expanding the nurse faculty workforce to train 18-nurse faculty.

 

Saint Mary's Healthcare (Allied Health):        $188,027

St. Mary's Healthcare, located in City of Grand Rapids and Ferris State University are partnering with West Central Michigan Health Care MiRSA to implement an accelerated allied health program for 24 respiratory therapists.

 

William Beaumont Hospital:         $989,785

William Beaumont Hospital, located in the City of Royal Oak and Michigan State University, and is partnering with Long Term Care Michigan Regional Skills Alliance, Foote Hospital, South Central Michigan Works!, Ingham Regional Medical Center, Greater Flint Health Coalition, Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center-Dearborn,   E.W. Sparrow Hospital, Capital Healthcare & Employment Council MiRSA to implement an accelerated second degree to bachelors of nursing and registered nurse to train 48 registered nurses. 

 

William Beaumont Hospital:        $162,179

William Beaumont Hospital, located in the City of Royal Oak and Oakland University are partnering with Detroit Workforce Development Department to implement an accelerated second degree to bachelors of nursing and registered nurse to train 8 registered nurses.                          

 

Spectrum Health:         $603,200

Spectrum Health, located in the City of Grand Rapids, Grand Valley State University and Kirkhof College of Nursing are partnering with West Central Michigan Health Care MiRSA to implement an accelerated healthcare career training program second degree to bachelors of nursing and registered nurse to train 24 registered nurses.

 

Bay Regional Medical Center:        $293,559

Bay Regional Medical Center, located in the City of Bay City and Saginaw Valley University are partnering with East Central Healthcare Alliance to implement expanding the nurse faculty workforce for 10 clinical nurse faculty.

Henry Ford Hospital:        $1,000,000

Henry Ford hospital, located in the City of Detroit, and Henry Ford Community College are partnering with Greater Detroit Area Health Council to implement accelerated training for certified nursing assistant to licenses practical nurse to train 60 with an associate degree in licensed practical nursing.

 

Lakeland Hospital:        $650,000

Lakeland hospital, located in the City of St. Joseph and Lake Michigan College are partnering with the Michigan Regional Skills Alliance for Emerging Technologies to implement accelerated allied health programs to train 25 radiography technologists.

 

Harper University Hospital:        $1,094,097

Harper University is located in Detroit, and Wayne State University College of Nursing are partnering with Detroit Workforce Development Department Long term Care MiRSA to implement accelerated second degree to bachelors of nursing and registered nurse to train 24 registered nurses.

 

Provident Hospital:         $824,985

St. Johns Hospital located in Warren, and Oakland University School of Nursing are partnering with Detroit Workforce Development to implement accelerated second degree to bachelors of nursing and registered nurse to train 50 registered nurses.

 

Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center:        $1,012,836

Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center, located in Dearborn, and Oakland University are partnering with Detroit Workforce Development Department to implement an accelerated Second Degree to Bachelors or Nursing and registered nurse to train 25 RNs

 

Genesys Regional Medical Center and McLaren Regional Medical Center:         $1,249,847

Geneysis Regional Medical Center, located in the City of Grand Blanc, McLaren Regional Medical Center and Hurley Medical Center, and Mott Community College, University of Michigan are partnering with Greater Flint health Coalition to implement expanding the nurse faculty workforce to train 41 clinical nurse faculty.
