Standard Plate

With a white reflective background and blue lettering, the standard plate is clean in design, rust-resistant, tamper-proof and easily identifiable. Renewals processed online, will arrive by mail in about 14 days.  Renewals completed at a branch office can be processed immediately. (Michigan Public Act 177 of 2006)

Spectacular Peninsulas Plate

This attractive plate replaces the Great Lakes Splendor plate - which can no longer be ordered.  (Please note: Customers with the Splendor plate may continue to renew it.)  The Spectacular Peninsulas plate showcases some of the best features of Michigan, including prominent cityscapes, majestic forests and fields, the mighty Mackinac Bridge, our two spectacular peninsulas and the Great Lakes.  Spectacular Peninsulas plates are available by mail or in person at a branch office for a one-time $5 fee in addition to the annual registration fee.  To order, enter code SP on your renewal worksheet.
