APRIL 6, 2011
Office to move temporarily to nearby suite in same mall until summer
The Secretary of State St. Clair County PLUS Office at 2887 Krafft Road in Port Huron will close for three days in April to temporarily move into a nearby suite while its current location is renovated, Secretary of State Ruth Johnson announced today.
The office will be closed from Wednesday, April 13 to Friday, April 15. It will reopen at 9 a.m., April 18 in Suite 1100 at the other end of the Court of Flags Mall. It is expected to move back to its present location this summer after the renovations have been completed.
"This is a temporary yet necessary move that will give us the chance to expand and provide better customer service at our existing PLUS office," Johnson said. "Area residents soon will be able to do business with the Secretary of State in a larger and improved facility."
