Mobile Office to visit Morenci Nov. 18-19

In keeping with her commitment to providing customer service, Secretary of State Candice S. Miller today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be at Morenci City Hall, Monday, Nov. 18 and Tuesday, Nov. 19.

 

Morenci City Hall is located at 118 Orchard St., in downtown Morenci. The Mobile Branch Office hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

 

"The Mobile Branch Office consistently earns excellent customer ratings from residents throughout Michigan," Secretary Miller said. "It provides prompt, courteous and efficient service in a variety of locations, making it even easier for residents to do business with the Secretary of State. I am pleased it can be in Morenci in November."

 

Following its visit to Morenci, the Mobile Branch Office will also be in Cedar Springs in November.

 

The Mobile Branch Office provides all of the services found at any Secretary of State branch office. Driver licenses and license plates can be renewed up to six months early without penalty at the Mobile Branch Office. No forms are necessary, however, residents must bring identification and proof of Michigan no-fault insurance. The Mobile Branch Office is handicapper accessible.

 

Since its unveiling, the Mobile Branch Office has served customers at senior events, fairs, exhibitions, and in towns, cities and villages across the state. It has traveled more than 95,000 miles.
