Filing Deadlines

If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the next business day shall be considered the filing due date.
Tax Due Date
Individual Income Tax April 15th

Individual Tax Estimates
Fiduciary Tax Estimates

April 15th, June 15th and September 15th of the tax year and January 15th of the following year
Estate Tax 9 months from the date of death.
Note: Estates of persons who die after December 31, 2004 are not subject to a Michigan inheritance or estate tax. Therefore, an Estate Tax Form does not need to be filed with Michigan Treasury.
Fiduciary Tax On or before the 15th day of the fourth month after the close of the tax year
Home Heating Credit Claim September 30th immediately following the tax year for which the credit is claimed
