How can I obtain a Non-Obligated Spouse form?
 
Answer:

The Non-Obligated Spouse form (743) cannot be requested or downloaded.

This form is sent to you only if you or your spouse:

  1. Owe a debt to the State of Michigan for a tax or non-tax debt or
  2. Owe a debt to a court or
  3. A court order has been issued to apply your joint refund on a debt owed to another person

The form is printed and mailed using information from your joint tax return. You will receive two copies, one for your records and one to return to Treasury with the requested information.
