My return is completed but my preparer has no record of my refund.

Answer:

Contact your financial institution to verify if a deposit has been made. If you requested a "Refund Anticipation" loan, you will need to discuss the details of your transaction with your preparer. If no record exists, you can request a Direct Deposit trace through the Michigan Department of Treasury. Allow 30 days from the initial date of deposit before contacting the Michigan Department of Treasury. A trace can take up to 90 days to complete. We will notify you of the results by mail. If you have moved since the filing of your return, please update your address using the Check My Income Tax Info on our Web site.

Select the option "Change My Address" button on the next page and follow the directions.
After verification of your identification, choose the appropriate link "Change My Address".
You will be asked to enter the tax year, your adjusted gross income/household income and filing status. Follow the directions given on the next page to request an address change.
