How long will it take to obtain a Certificate of Completion? Must I submit a request by a certain date to assure that it will be processed before the end of my taxable year?

Answer:
A request for a Certificate of Completion must be received at least 45 days prior to the ending date of the tax year for which you wish to take the credit. If an on-site inspection by MEGA is required, you must allow 90 days for the processing of your request. Requests received later will still be processed, but may not be processed before the end of the tax year.
