FAQ
  Status of Individual Refund
What is the status of my refund?

Answer:

You may obtain account specific information by using the "Check My Income Tax Info" option at this Web site.

For privacy and security reasons you will be asked for your Social Security number, name, federal adjusted gross income, household income and filing status.

When processing income tax returns, the Michigan Department of Treasury gives priority to current year returns. Be sure to file your current year return separately from any amended or prior year return.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for Michigan Department of Treasury to receive your paper return and make it available for viewing. Returns needing manual review will take considerably longer to process.

Please allow 14 days for Michigan Department of Treasury to receive your electronically filed return and make it available for viewing.
